Juan Jose Barboza Gubo received his BFA in Sculpture at the Pontifical Catholic University, Lima, Peru in 2000, and his MFA in Painting and Sculpture at the Massachusetts College of Art + Design in 2007/8. Gubo is the recipient of several international awards and his work has been exhibited in solo and group shows in the US, South America and Europe.
